Jack Berman's "Call Organizer"

Posted by Nancy Lavin on December 1, 2011 at 4:30pm 0 Comments

I'm editing this post as a Tribute to Jack Berman.  Sadly Jack has passed on, but for those of you who knew Jack I'm sure you'll recall his Call Organizer.

When it was announced, a couple of years ago, that Jack Berman would be a contributor to "Agency Sales" - MANA's magazine, it brought back memories of my CPMR 101 classes, one of which was taught by Jack.  It was in his class that Jack introduced the reps to the "Call Organizer".

Jack explained that the Call…

Sync'ing MRSware with an Android device

Posted by Nancy Lavin on July 18, 2011 at 4:51pm 0 Comments

I think I mentioned, in an earlier blog, that I had moved from a Windows Mobile phone to an Android phone.  I love the Android platform - it's soooo easy.  I just finished setting up my MRSware Mobile sync with Funambol.  There was an app in the Market for this and the install and setup was a piece of cake.  For those of you who know me that is an unusual statement.

To get the instructions on how to set up your MRSware Mobile sync go to…

Mobile device usage increases & data plans

Posted by Nancy Lavin on July 8, 2011 at 10:41am 0 Comments

I just finished reading an interesting article about the growth of Internet usage from mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.  According to a Net Market Share report 5% of worldwide browsing sessions now come from mobile devices.  This number rises to 8.2% in the United States.  This includes Android, Blackberry, iOS, Symbian, Windows Mobile, and Java ME devices.

Just after reading this report I read in the "Cape Cod Times" that Verizon Wireless was discontinuing…

In my previous post I talked about how our behavior is affected by the introduction of a stimulus (ringing  or vibrating of a cell phone or mobile device) bringing about a conditioned reflex (immediately answering the call or reading & replying to the message).

In this post I want to…

Docking Button Bars

The new Docking Buttons Bar feature allows for button bars to be moved to the User's desired position on the top (hoizontal) or left (vertical) side of the MRSware main window.  Along with this feature, a couple of new button bars and the ability to turn on or off existing panels were included.
